Shaker Home

Shaker Home make a range of furniture and accessories based on the designs of the Shakers, a religious order that emigrated from England and landed in New York in 1774. They were true Craftsmen and Women in everything they produced and like them we aim to maintain their very high standards of workmanship.

All our pieces are made using solid wood except the backing to mirrors and the chalkboard where we use a man made board. All items except the rolling pins are finished in two coats of semi matt lacquer but if requested they can be given an oil finish.

We do not mass produce our pieces, most items are made to order and deliveries are usually dispatched between seven and twenty eight days.We try to keep postage and packing costs to a minimum and we can give you a quotation for this service.
